Diskeeper Undelete 2009 Recovers Even Long-Lost Files

Diskeeper Undelete 2009

Undelete 2009 is software that can recover digital photos accidentally deleted off cameras or PC hard drives. It’s from Diskeeper Corporation and retails for $29.95.

Not only can it recover photos that you deleted after installing the software, Undelete 2009 can also find images you deleted way before you installed it, according to the company.

Diskeeper explains that Undelete 2009 replaces the Windows Recycle Bin with a powerful Recovery Bin, capturing all digital photos accidentally deleted off the hard drive. “Further, anyone with a digital camera is familiar with these two options: “Delete Photo” and “Delete All Photos.” Suppose you hit the latter by accident? Undelete 2009 can recover even those photos from the camera’s drive itself,” the company added.

Undelete 2009’s features extend far beyond digital photography. One can recover any data accidentally deleted off a PC–including earlier “saved over” versions of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files. Just right-click the file and select “View Versions” to restore the file you want. You can also preview the files before recovery to help find the right one.
