CP+ Camera & Photo Imaging Show Reels Off March 2010 in Japan

CP+ Camera & Photo Imaging Show

The first CP+ Camera & Photo Imaging Show is slated to take place March 11-14, 2010 in Yokohama, Japan. The new imaging trade show is being organized by the Camera & Imaging Products Association (CIPA).

CP+ (cee-pee-plus) aims to be a comprehensive camera & imaging show for consumers and businesses to promote and energize the photography and imaging industry. Organizers said they have the support of Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the city of Yokohama and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).

The trade show will showcase cameras, lenses, photo accessories, printers, image processing software, mobile devices, displays, projectors, photo finishing products, photo books, printing papers and studio facilities and equipment.

Already, the major exhibitors list includes nearly every Japanese camera and lens manufacturer. Most notably, the list includes imaging giant Canon, which is based in Japan. Canon withdrew its attendance from last February’s PMA show in Anaheim.
