Color Management in Digital Photography by Brad Hinkel

Here’s a book that promises a good grasp of color management in an easy-to-understand language. Brad Hinkel’s “Color Management in Digital Photography: Ten Easy Steps to True Colors in Photoshop” is based on classes and workshops the author has given to hundreds of students of digital photography. Brad was also instrumental in developing the digital photography programs at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography and the Photographic Center Northwest.

The book teaches the user to understand color management from the moment he takes a photograph up to the moment he prints his pictures. Hinkel’s process for color management is intended to provide enough information to create a simple and effective system allowing the user to get on with photography — to focus on creativity instead of technology.

Color Management in Digital Photography ($30 retail) consists of 105 pages and is published by Rocky Nook.
