Ceiva Updates Digital Photo Frames

Ceiva Digital Photo Frame

Ceiva claims it’s “revolutionary” but there’s really nothing radical about it anymore as it has become standard fare in today’s offerings of digital frames: built-in card-reader to display slideshows from a memory card, internet connectivity, etc., but they sure have a sleek design here.

The Ceiva Digital Photo Frame comes with their optional PicturePlan service, which delivers new photos to any CEIVA frame around the world, the stream of photos constantly updated via the Internet. In addition, any member can store an unlimited number of their personal photos at ceiva.com and select their favorites for automatic display on any CEIVA frame. Of course, you have to pay for subscribing to the service.

The 8-inch frame, for a suggested $199, will ship with an interchangeable black and wood finish frame. The 7-inch frame will retail for $149. Both models work with an optional broadband adapter ($25) or Wi-Fi adapter ($35) to access the Internet for use with the company’s PicturePlan Internet photo service.
