Casio has introduced the PCP-1200 photo printer whose sole mission in life is printing personalized photo post cards. It features a large 7-inch touchscreen with 480×234 resolution, a keyboard for adding text to post cards, and print resolution of 2400×1200 dpi.
The PCP-1200 accepts all major memory cards including CompactFlash, Memory Stick/Pro/Duo/Pro Duo, xD-Picture cards and SD/SDHC media. miniSD and microSD are also accepted with the use of an SD adapter.
The printer can also store up to a thousand different addresses in case you have that many friends to send postcards to, and features 294 different post card templates.
The Casio PCP-1200 is slated to sell in Japan in September for $500; a trimmed down version – the PCP-250 with a 3.5-inch touchscreen – will be available for $365. Pricey, eh?
