Canon has revamped its consumer camcorder line with the introduction of the new VIXIA lineup at CES 2008 now on-going in Las Vegas.
The HD camcorder family includes the Canon VIXIA HF10 Dual Flash Memory camcorder, pictured above, VIXIA HF100 Flash Memory camcorder and VIXIA HV30 HD camcorder.
The company noted that all VIXIA camcorders feature Canon core technologies – a Genuine Canon HD Video Lens, a Canon designed and manufactured HD CMOS Image Sensor for Full HD (1920×1080) image capture, the Canon-developed DIGIC DV II Image Processor, Instant AutoFocus and SuperRange Optical Image Stabilization.
At CES 2008, Canon also introduced its Dw-100 DVD Burner designed for use with Canon Flash Memory camcorders and Canon Hard Disk Drive camcorders.
The Vixia HF10 ($1,099) and HF 100 ($899) will ship in April while the HV30 ($999) will be available in February. The Canon DW-100 DV Burner ($269) will hit retail stores in late April.
