Canon India is planning to strengthen its presence in retail chain stores as it sees 25% of its money to come from these chains next year.

Canon is relying on its alliances with India’s 13 national and 28 city-specific different retail chains as part of its twin marketing moves. The other marketing thrust is on their flagship stores which include IT, photo and video segments.

The retail chains Canon has tied up with include Hypercity, Croma, Metro, E -zone, Next, Bangalore Central, and city retail chains like Viveks in Chennai, Vijay Sales in Mumbai and Zoom in Kolkata, among others.
