Camera Bits Updates Photo Mechanic to Version 4.5.3.2

Photo Mechanic by Camera Bits

Before Aperture and Lightroom, Photo Mechanic was the workflow software. It was, and still is, the real photo management application to turn to when handling tons – hundreds or thousands – of photos at a time.If you’re a professional photo editor whose job involves selecting photos and not selecting pixels, Photo Mechanic is your friend.

Camera Bits has updated the Photo Mechanic software, it’s now Version 4.5.3.2, to bring it up to speed with the times and add support for newer cameras. The update follows a public beta period to get feedback from its actual users.

The Mac and Windows versions incorporates enhancements unique to each operating system, but most notably the update fixes a few minor bugs and adds support for rendering RAW files from the Nikon D60 and Olympus E-3. It also introduces product activation to the pro photo browsing and transfer program for the first time (yay!).

Photo Mechanic 4.5.3.2 is a free update for users who bought the application before March 2007. For new buyers, it’s $150 via download and $160 on CD.
