Call for Entries to The Can-DO Film Festival and Competition

Canon EOS 1D Mark IV DSLR

Canon is calling for entries to the first ever Can-DO Film Festival and Competition from January 1 to March 20, 2010. Entries being sought are short videos shot on Canon’s video-capable DSLRs like the EOS 1D Mark IV, 5D Mark II, 7D or Rebel T1i (EOS 500D). The short film cannot be more than four minutes long from start to finish.

There are 10 categories in the competition including music video, spec commercial, TV show teaser, movie trailer, narrative, documentary, nature, sports event, wedding event and military services. There is a fee to be paid for every entry in the different categories.

Prizes will be given to the winners in each of the categories. Prizes include the Canon EOS 1D Mk IV HD DSLR, Canon EOS 5D Mk II HD DSLR, Zeiss ZE lenses, Redrock Micro Systems DSLR camera rigs, RAWworks products and others.
