BenQ has a shiny new camera in the DC X-835 compact that measures a very slim 12.5mm (half an inch!) in thickness.
The new camera features an smc Pentax lens that BenQ describes as top-tier and its Sliding Lens System is supposed to make every corner of the photo sharper and clearer. It has a 3x zoom.
It also features a Face Tracking function to detect and track up to 9 human faces and is able to focus on the faces to ensure that people are perfectly presented in terms of color and clearness in the photos.
Additionally, there’s a Wise Zoom function that ambitions to give the user the maximum 30X zoom effect, but I wouldn’t count on that; it sounds very much like digital zoom.
This 8-megapixel point-and-shoot sports a 2.5-inch LCD screen and built-in 16MB of internal memory. Its SD card slot plays nice with up to 4GB SDHC memory cards.
