BBC Learning Buses to Teach Brits How to Take Photos

The British Broadcasting Corporation is fielding BBC Learning Buses around London to encourage the British public to go out and take photos of their local area and start sharing them with wider communities.

This comes in the heels of the BBC TV series “How We Built Britain,” which documented the history of famous buildings and structures in the UK. The public is being invited to bring their own cameras, take photos of their town and share them via the Britain in Pictures Gallery.

The BBC Learning Buses are equipped and manned to support aspiring photographers. Trained BBC photographers and cameramen will be on hand to help and inspire them. These buses will be parked at More London Riverside.

For the more experienced shooters, the BBC is bringing in their own photographers from the BBC4 series to run short master-classes such as close-up photography and how to deal with lighting conditions.
