ASMP Offers Free Education Resources for Photographers

The American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) has unveiled a free education resource for photographers at all levels by providing access to the ASMP daily blog as well as the popular and acclaimed Strictly Business 2 video lecture series covering topics such as copyright, pricing, negotiating, and building a photography business.

“ASMP has created these resources to provide a forum for training in critically important skills and fostering new ideas. Our goal is to continue to support the needs of photographers at all career stages, and to build an informed and savvy professional photography community,” said Eugene H. Mopsik, ASMP Executive Director.

Contributors to the video lecture series include ASMP members Richard Kelly, Judy Herrmann, Blake Discher, Leslie Burns-Dell’Acqua and Carr. The videos also have interviews with preeminent member photographers Barbara Bordnick, Paul Elledge, Steve Grubman, Chase Jarvis, Lou Jones, and Paul Lerner.

Founded in 1944, ASMP promotes photographers’ rights, provides education in better business practices, produces business publications for photographers, and helps to connect purchasers with professional photographers. ASMP has 39 chapters across the country.
