Apple Updates Aperture to Version 2.1.1

Apple Aperture 2 Box

The new Aperture from Apple is now available. Version 2.1.1 of of the image processing software addresses stability and some compatibility and other minor issues, says Apple.

Update to v2.1.1 for existing owners of Aperture is $99; $199 if you buy it new.

Apple Aperture is a workflow software designed from the ground up for professional photographers, Aperture provides everything you need after the shoot, delivering the first all-in-one post-production tool for photographers. There is of course Lightroom from Adobe, if you don’t like Aperture.

What’s not to like? Aperture is a very robust and competent image processor. But is it really true that you get this annoying “unsupported image” maroon box in Aperture for no reason at all?
