Anthropics Offers Portrait Professional 8 at Half Price

Portrait Professional 8

The Mac version of Portrait Professional 8 by Anthropics is now out, touting intelligent portrait airbrushing software that lets you improve your photos instantly, just by moving a numbers of sliders. No, not in the way of Nik’s U Point neat tricks, but more like moving sliders in Lightroom.

Anthropics says Portrait Professional 8 has been “trained” in human beauty; it allows you to subtly reshape any aspect of the face to make it more attractive and fix skin blemishes like spots or pimples. It can also adjust the lighting on the face, in post process, to make it more flattering.

The new functions implemented in Version 8 include:

• Smooth, recolor and thicken the hair
• Control the eyes and mouth in much greater detail
• Change the eye color of the subject
• Save and use multiple changes at once with Saved Slider configurations
• Improved User Interface: Help, Tutorial and Undo functions making Portrait Professional the easiest to use photo-editing software available.

Portrait Professional 8 is being offered for a limited time at $80, half of its regular $160 price.
