This is a dream expedition for photographers, if you have about $15,000 to spare.

Michael Reichmann’s Antarctic photographic expedition is scheduled for January 9-23, 2009, a 13-day adventure that starts at Ushuaia, at the southern tip of Argentina.

The voyage aboard the Ocean Nova ship will take you through the rough seas of the Drake Passage and then to the calm waters of an Antarctic summer for a week, going ashore in Zodiacs two to three times each day to photograph the unique landscape and wildlife found at the bottom of the world.

On board will be Reichmann and his team of superb photography instructors: John Paul Caponigro, Stephen Johnson, Seth Resnick, Chris Sanderson, Jeff Schewe, Andy Biggs, Ian Lyons, Tim Wolcott, Anthony Hobbs and Kevin Raber.

They will be conducting seminars on shooting technique, digital imaging processing, inkjet printing, color management and more. They will be available to you for photographic advice throughout the voyage.

The $9,720 berths for triple cabins have been sold out, but there’s still a few left for the twin-cabin $13,800 berths.
