For those of you out there waiting for the next DSLR with a real-time LCD preview, your wait may be over. Someone out there, namely a company named Seculine, has finally come up with a better idea. Why not just make a unit that slides onto your existing viewfinder giving you an angled LCD screen.
The newest model (Zigview SC-V100R) has a serious list of features including shutter release, interval shot and motion detection. The list of compatible cameras is impressive. Check out this page to see if the SC-V100R will fit your camera:

On most new SLR cameras the Eyecup can simply be slid off to allow the SC-V100R to be mounted in less than 5 seconds. This is great for the photographer on the go.
The angled 1.9 inch TFT LCD display could allow you to shoot over crowds or at ground level. Even if you like lying down in the middle of a sidewalk, this accessory could allow you to move your camera even lower without having to also put your face on the ground.
As for power, the Zigview SC-V100R has a built-in rechargeable battery which supposedly provides 6 hours of use on a 2 hour charge. The unit also contains a DC input for charging the unit. There is very little information available about the power supply that ships with the unit. I guess we’ll have to wait a little longer to find out whether or not it will work on the standard U.S. 110v power.
As for price, the list on this puppy is around $200.00. Now all you have to do is find one…
I googled the beans out of this and couldn’t find any U.S. retailers, however Ebay did come through for me. Simply type in Zigview.
Now go take some pictures!
