Advanced Media has announced the availability of its new 266X series of Ridata Compact Flash memory cards. The new cards come in 2GB to 16GB capacities.
The non-volatile memory card features dual channels of data throughput to achieve the high-speed read of 266X (approximately 40MB/per sec). The card also offers low power consumption with automatic power management. It conforms to the CompactFlash Association Standard and is compliant with CF spec 4.0.
It is compatible with most portable devices with a CF slot, such as digital cameras, video cameras, pocket PCs, notebook PCs, industrial controllers, embedded systems, PMP and other multimedia devices.
Advanced Media says Ridata CF cards are designed to be reliable, featuring a Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) of five million powered on hours.
