Adobe Lightroom Beta 4.1 Fixes a Few Bugs

Adobe Lightroom Beta

Adobe is hard at work on its Lightroom software which is now on its Beta 4 stage. Now, they have just released their Beta 4.1 update to fix a few bugs.

Among the bugs fixed: an issue where a user could not edit a metadata field after editing it for another picture which has been fixed, the preview cache was using wrong relative path, a problem on selecting an existing folder for web galleries, plus a few more.

But it’s already a fairly usable application and users are encouraged to download it for free to help Adobe shape its feature set by giving feedback on its performance.

Lightroom is a workflow and editing application which takes all of the useful photography-related stuff from Photoshop and combines this with a sophisticated importation, browsing and organizational front-end. It is clearly aimed at taking on the already successful Apple Aperture software as well as a few other high end workflow tools.

Well, good luck, Adobe!
