Adobe Issues Release Candidate for Lightroom 2.1

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 Box

Adobe Systems, Inc. today announced a release candidate for Version 2.1 of Photoshop Lightroom, addressing several bugs that were introduced with the release of Lightroom 2.0 and adding support for newer cameras.

Among those fixed in the latest version are stability and high severity bugs, performance bugs, some issues with keywords and metadata and interoperability with Photoshop (edits in Photoshop did not work correctly or at all for some customers).

The newly supported camera models include Fuji Finepix IS Pro, Nikon D700, Nikon D90 and Nikon Coolpix P6000.

This is a release candidate, meaning this update is well tested but would benefit from additional community testing before it is distributed automatically to Lightroom users.
