It is now possible for users to create their own custom-made panels for Photoshop CS4 to make its interface suit their specific needs. Yes, the default Photoshop panels are quite flexible but they can be overwhelming for most users.
Enter the Adobe Configurator, it makes it easy to snap together your own Photoshop panels (they were called pallets not so long ago) so that you can remix Photoshop’s interface to fit your needs. You don’t need all those panels presented by default when you open Photoshop, Configurator lets you assemble your own.
The Adobe Configurator is an open-source Adobe application. It is available now as a free download from Adobe Labs.
