Tamron is gearing up for the 2008 round of their photo workshops. First stop is Tampa, Florida, on May 2 & 3 where international award winning nature and wildlife photographer James Shadle will share his technical and artistic skills.
Aside from the Friday evening seminar, participants will enjoy a full Saturday of shooting at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo, a center for wildlife conservation and biodiversity where more than 1,800 animals can be found. Jim, who is also a Florida Master Naturalist, will guide the participants during the shoot.
The Tamron Photo Workshops are weekend events, limited to 30 participants, and feature a Friday evening photo seminar followed by a full day Saturday workshop in the field. Professional photographers Don Gale, Terry Livingstone, Dave Maynard, Jim Shadle, Roy Toft, and Les Voorhis are some of the masters involved for 2008.
Participants will have access to loaner lenses, white balance filters and tripods to enhance their picture-taking experience. They will also receive exclusive bonus rebates on equipment plus a $20 Gift Card. The $179 per person fee includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and other surprise giveaways.
The Tamron Photo Workshops will be in Austin, Texas on May 9-10 with commercial photographer Don Gale, and in Santa Rosa, California on May 16-17 with wildlife photographer Roy Toft.
